- אַמַּדְלָא, אַמִּידְלָאm. (= על מדלא, על מיד׳; דלי; cmp. דָּלִית) watchmans lodge on top of trees. Sabb.155a דרגא דא׳ Ar., Ms. M. (ed. דמַדְלָא) ladder for climbing up to the lodge.
